Southampton
The only way is up for Southampton. Surely?
So here we go again, the football league season is barely three games old and already my proud chimes of hope, expectation, optimism blah blah blah have begun to deflate. Welcome to the life of being a Southampton fan. After a few turbulent seasons the once well established Premier League side find themselves dabbling in the lower echelons of English football, currently sat bottom of League One due to a ten-point deduction and reeling after an embarrassing 3-1 loss to Huddersfield at the weekend. Oh dear.   1

Tilson is wrong to snub the subs
Those who disagree with common consensus can often be left feeling rather foolish. While everyone is free to speak their mind, there comes a point when disagreeing with something that has been embraced and accepted by so many can seem rather odd.   0
Huddersfield Town
Two pairs of Clarks for ambitious Huddersfield
Rarely can a club boast that they are a shoe-in for promotion, but with defenders Tom, Nathan and Peter Clarke, not to mention manager Lee Clark, all at the Galpharm, perhaps Huddersfield have one foot in the Championship. Dreadful footwear-related puns aside, the Galpharm will become a much-feared venue for opposing sides next season as manager Lee Clark sets about building a promotion winning side in his first full season at the club.   0
Deal not Dunn yet for Cobblers
The 2008/09 season has been a testing time for the Cobblers. Pre-season hopes were of a play-off place yet Town find themselves struggling and in the relegation zone.   0
