Tilson is wrong to snub the subs
|
Those who disagree with common consensus can often be left feeling rather foolish. While everyone is free to speak their mind, there comes a point when disagreeing with something that has been embraced and accepted by so many can seem rather odd. This is why I was mystified by the comments attributed to Southend boss Steve Tilson earlier in the week. The seven substitutes rule has been slowly creeping into footballing mainstream over the past few years and having been used in the Premier League and domestic cups last year, has unsurprisingly been enforced upon the football league.
